Michael A. Rumer

Mike was born in Lima, Ohio on October 9, 1944. He was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1970 and is also admitted to practice before the U. S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio and the U. S. District Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit. He received a B.S. in Education in 1966 from the Bowling Green State University, and received his J. D. in 1970 from the Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University. He was a teacher at Bowling Green Public Schools from 1966-1967. He was in private practice from 1970 to 1981; during which time he served as the Chief Referee and Administrative Assistant of the Juvenile Court of Allen County, Ohio from 1971 to 1981, and Referee of the Probate Court of Allen County, Ohio from 1978-1981. Mr. Rumer was elected Judge of the Common Pleas Court of Allen County, Ohio in 1981 and held that position until retiring from the bench in 1997 to return to private practice.

Victoria Maisch Rumer

Victoria was born in Lima, Ohio on May 16, 1954. She was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1994 and is also admitted to practice before the U. S. Supreme Court, U. S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, and the U. S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio and the U. S. Supreme Court. She received a Dual B.A. in 1975 from Ohio Northern University and a M.S. in Education in 1979 from the University of Dayton. She received her J.D. in 1994 from the Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University. She is a member of the Allen County and Ohio State Bar Associations. She also served as past District 3 Trustee for the Ohio Women’s Bar Association.

Zachary D. Maisch

Zach was born in Lima, Ohio and is the son of Victoria.  He also attended Ohio Northern University, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2003 and his J.D. from the Pettit College of Law in 2006.  Zach is licensed to practice in the State of Ohio as well as in the Northern District of Ohio Federal Court.  Additionally, Zach has obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Forensics from the Univeristy of Northwestern Ohio in 2010. 

Andrea M. Brown

Andrea is originally from Byesville, Ohio and she relocated to the Lima, Ohio area upon joining Rumer & Maisch Co., LLC.  She was admitted to practice in the State of Ohio in 2012 and is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.  Andrea earned a B.A. in Political Science from Capital University in 2009, graduating summa cum laude.  She received her J.D. from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in 2012, graduating cum laude.  During law school, Andrea was a member of the Moot Court trial competition team and served as Administrative Justice of the Moot Court Executive Board.
